Are you sitting comfortably?
In my training as a nutritional therapist, I have joined Cytoplan, a supplier of food-state supplements. Cytoplan do a great series of blogs on all things health, not just nutrition.
I came across a great blog the other day on the impacts of sitting for prolonged periods. It has been said that "sitting is the new smoking" and reading this blog by Bev Alderson you can start to understand why. She talks about why sitting - and in particular sitting badly - has so many negative health consequences. These include postural and musculo-skeletal issues, as you would expect, but also digestive, breathing, weight, mental health problems.
