Anatomical Drawings...and a book amnesty!

I recently invested in a new anatomy book by John Hull Grundy. The book is called Human Structure and Shape and the anatomical drawings contained within in are both beautiful and informative. Grundy takes an approach which aims to present the mechanical workings of the musculo-skeletal system in a functional way that everyone can understand. This approach is really useful because if we can better understand how we function we can direct ourselves in a better way. Direction is one of the Principles of the Technique that I haven't covered yet in these blog posts - I will get there soon!

Here are some drawings from the book. Please feel free to have a look through the book when you come for lessons.

While we are on the subject of books, I own 3 copies of Michael Gelb's book Body Learning, a great introduction to the Technique. All 3 copies are out on loan to clients at the moment but I can't for the life of me remember who I leant them to. I have a number of new clients I would like to pass the book on to, so if you have a copy of the book at home, please could you return it?

Many thanks!
